Our West German pedigrees will have the very best family temperaments when raised respectfully with a wonderful pack leader. We raise our pups to be tolerant of children and other animals, caring, smart, loyal, and alert but not aggressive. We also expose them to other animals. Pups are carefully introduced to social life and always encouraged to share food, toys, and possessions. We make dogs that are easy to live with, so smart, trainable, & willing to please their family. They usually pick their special person within the pack but always love and cherish their immediate human pack and any other members, including cats, small dogs, chickens, turkeys, sheep, cows, horses, and even donkeys.

They were known as a working dog breed with exceptional trainability and loyalty. We also value calm dogs with a steady temperament.
